One in three European product jobs sits in the London–Berlin–Paris triangle

Count every live product role on the index with a known city and three places dominate: London with 291 live roles, Berlin with 146, Paris with 120. Together that’s 557 of 1,655 listings — one in three European product jobs, in three cities that between them house about 4% of Europe’s population.

The second ring

Behind the triangle sits a strong second ring: Barcelona (59), Amsterdam (46), Madrid (30), Bucharest (29), Munich and Warsaw (around 20 each), then Stockholm, Prague, Rotterdam and Dublin in the teens. The interesting movement is south and east — Barcelona now clearly outranks Amsterdam on product-role volume, and Bucharest, Warsaw and Sofia together carry more live product roles than the whole of the Nordics.

Concentration ≠ destiny

Two forces pull against the triangle. First, remote: 268 fully-remote roles is an effective “fourth city” bigger than Paris. Second, the hidden middle — hybrid roles in mid-size hubs (Eindhoven, Lyon, Gothenburg, Kraków) rarely trend on job boards but face far less applicant competition. A senior PM opening in London draws hundreds of applicants; the same role in Rotterdam often draws dozens.
