The opportunity

Within our Business Products & Operations Area in Value Added Services Tribe, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Owner to maximizing the value delivered by the reporting squad and ensure alignment with customer needs, business priorities, regulatory requirements and the strategic objectives of the company. The Product owner determines what is being worked on within the squad in consultation with the Area Product Owner and is responsible for meeting the agreed service and delivery KPI’s.

Day-to-day responsibilities

 

• As a Product Owner (60%)

  • Define the product vision and strategy for the assets managed within the squad, ensuring alignment with Worldline's goals and product team. 
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features and enhancements, and ensure a clear, actionable roadmap. 
  • Oversee product development throughout its lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features. 
  • Collaborate closely with the squad and other stakeholders (technical and business) to gather requirements and ensure product alignment with customer needs. 
  • Address challenges that arise during the implementation of new features. 
  • Lead continuous improvement and optimization of processing solutions to maintain steady growth and efficiency. 
  • Take ownership and end-to-end responsibility for the squad’s deliveries. 
  • Drive continuous improvements in way of working, collaboration and product outcomes
  • Managing stakeholders by providing transparency on priorities, risks, dependencies and delivery progress.
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive products to enhance our offering continually. 

  As a Business Analyst (40%)

  • Requirements Engineering: Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear, structured specifications that serve as a source of truth for the development teams.

Who are we looking for

 

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means: 

 

• Higher degree in IT or related fields. 
• Relevant experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in an Agile environment. 
• Experience working with data products, data management, analytics platforms and practical SQL skills
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and understanding the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and prod support
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear structures and actionable plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Understanding payments and card issuing processing systems is a plus. 
• Willingness to learn new things and continuously improve. 
• Experience working in international and cross-functional teams is a plus. 
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1); additional languages (French) are appreciated.
