We’re seeking a proactive, business‑minded Product Manager to serve as the technical expert and primary contact for our Woodyard product line in the Valmet Pulp Energy and Circularity (PEC) portfolio. In this high‑impact role, you’ll drive proposal development, support customers, collaborate across sales, engineering, field service, and manufacturing, and help grow a critical part of our business. You’ll manage inquiries and proposals, support troubleshooting, guide product development, contribute to strategic planning, and help ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This position is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and innovation. Travel is required 50–70%, including occasional international trips.

Expectations

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), strong technical communication skills, the ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and control drawings, and a solid understanding of pulp mill operations related to woodyard systems. A customer‑first mindset, strong organizational abilities, and comfort managing shifting priorities are essential.
