(Senior) Product Analyst

Role Overview

You will be embedded within a cross-functional development team and contribute throughout the full lifecycle of features and A/B tests - from defining success metrics and supporting experiment design to analysing results and recommending the next iteration. You will combine real-time data, player behaviour insights, industry trends and business intuition to validate hypotheses and optimise the player experience.

Working closely with Product Managers, developers, QA, art, level design and Live Operations, you will develop a deep understanding of player journeys, product performance and business outcomes. You will also collaborate with teams such as User Acquisition and present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

This role will suit someone who goes beyond explaining what is happening in the data to recommending what the team should do next.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in Product Analytics, Game Analytics, Data Analytics or a closely related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable product recommendations.
• Experience designing, executing or supporting the full lifecycle of A/B tests.
• Strong understanding of product KPIs and player behaviour, with the ability to connect analytical findings to product decisions.
• Experience analysing large datasets to answer both strategic and operational business questions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar BI platforms.
• Experience building dashboards and defining meaningful product metrics.
• Ability to assess feature performance and confidently recommend product roadmap, feature or LiveOps decisions based on data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience or interest in Mobile Gaming.
• Strong analytical thinker, able to deep dive into details as well as command a holistic view of a product.
• Experience reading and creating dashboards in order to gain a better understanding of a product.
• Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Excel and solid SQL capabilities.
• Ability to make decisions on product roadmaps, features & strategies based on data, market trends & experience.
• Incredible communication skills, ability to articulate complicated data concisely and ask the right questions to understand requirements.

Soft Skills

• Intellectual curiosity, analytical rigour, high attention to detail, and a good business intuition.
• Methodical and logical approach to solving business problems.
• Experience defining metrics and building visualisations.
• A strong interest in the mobile games industry.
