What will your mission be? 🎯
You set the vision and quality bar for design across CDO overall product pipeline. Build the culture that makes designers want to work here. Get design into strategic conversations early. Create career frameworks that show people a future. Coach the team on modern practice including AI-augmented design tools. And build the design operations infrastructure that makes 40 people effective at scale: tools, workflows, research ops, systems that let designers spend time designing instead of fighting process.
What skills are we looking for in you? 🔎
- Broad experience ranging from start‑ups to corporate environments, with the ability to build or transform design organizations, and deep expertise in Product Design, Service Design, Research, and design ops, including scalable systems and workflows.
- Solid executive presence, with excellent communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, bringing structure, clarity, and alignment to multidisciplinary and distributed teams.
- Fluent Spanish and English.

Set Vision & Standards
- Define quality bar across Product Design (UI/UX), Service Design, Creative, Research
- Build design operations that scale across products and markets
- Get design into strategic conversations early
- Represent design to all corporate business partners: Finance, Legal, HR and stakeholders
- (OBs)
Build Culture & Career Paths
- Create shared identity and community across 40+ designers
- Partner with CPSO on progression frameworks for all design disciplines
- Coach senior designers into leadership roles
- Portfolio reviews, critiques, rituals that build community
- Represent design in all relevant internal or external forums with compelling presentations and
- strong narratives
Coach Modern Practice
- Train designers on AI tools most haven't learned yet: Figma AI, v0, Uizard, Claude, Lovable...
- Show how AI augments creativity without replacing craft
- Model using these tools for higher quality outcomes faster
Own Design Operations
- Tools, workflows, resource planning. Figma, prototyping platforms, research ops
- Quality systems that scale without creating bottlenecks
- Make designers efficient: time spent designing, not fighting process

- More than 12+ years design experience, 5+ years leading teams of 20+ people
- Fluent with AI-powered design tools and can coach others
- Experience with platforms or marketplaces, having led design through organizational transformation, fluency in Spanish and English, and background in telco, cyber/defense, or other regulated industries (such as fintech or healthtech) will be highly valued.
