About Us
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective — providing operators with a decisive edge in contested environments.
We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems — not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe, today.
Your mission
The proliferation of low-cost UAS has fundamentally changed the threat landscape, and STARK is building the system that counters it. As Product Manager for our C-UAS C2 software suite, you will own the vision and execution of the central intelligence layer connecting sensor networks to effector tasking. Your mandate is clear: compress the DTIM loop, reduce operator cognitive load, and ship a product that works when lives depend on it.Responsibilities
Own the Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain the end-to-end product roadmap for our C-UAS C2 software, bridging the gap between Edge classification and the Frontline/Platform UI, from sensor integration to effector tasking and battle damage assessment.
Define "What": Translate complex operational needs, user feedback, and strategic goals into clear, concise, and actionable software requirements, user stories, and feature specifications.
Prioritize for Impact: Manage the product backlog, ruthlessly prioritizing features that reduce operator cognitive load, mitigate fatigue during 24/7 operations, shorten the engagement timeline, and enhance mission effectiveness.
Drive Sensor Fusion & AI Integration: Work with engineering to define requirements for automated decision support, fusing data from Radar, RF, and EO/IR sensors. Guide the productization of AI/ML models for rapid and reliable threat classification.
Champion Open Standards & Integration: Shape our product strategy around military C2 standards like MOSA/SOSA, OMS/UCI, Link 16, ASTERIX, and SAPIENT to ensure we remain the "friendly neighbour" integrator, seamlessly connecting with third-party sensors and diverse effectors.
Be the Voice of the User: Engage deeply with end-users, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand the nuances of the C-UAS mission, validate concepts, and ensure we are solving the most critical problems.
Qualifications
5+ years of Product Management experience, with a significant portion focused on defence, aerospace, or enterprise-grade C2 software.
Significant experience in product management within the defence, aerospace, or national security sectors, knowing how to build software for mission-critical applications where failure is not an option.
Demonstrable experience with products that follow the "DTIM" (Detect, Track, Identify, Mitigate) or similar sensor-to-effector workflows.
Solid understanding of military C2 standards and architectures (e.g., MOSA, SOSA, OMS/UCI, Link 16, ASTERIX, SAPIENT).
Experience defining requirements for and productizing AI/ML capabilities, particularly for classification, sensor fusion, or decision support systems.
Proven ability to manage a product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization process from concept to delivery.
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
Decisive & focused mindset, excelling at making tough trade-off decisions in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action
Nice to have
Comfortable discussing system architecture, API design, and the challenges of integrating complex hardware and software (e.g., autonomous guidance stacks and edge compute).
Strategic ability to analyze market trends, assess competitive threats, and formulate a compelling product vision that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
