Who we are Digital Energy Software is a core business of Schneider Electric’s Energy Management business. We build operations software, software-defined control, IoT and analytics that help customers run, optimize and control buildings, power and energy, from small and medium buildings to large and mission-critical sites. EcoStruxure™ Foresight DataConnect is where our software meets every other system in a building. It brings operational data together, shares it, gives it a common meaning and normalizes it, so analytics, applications and AI-native energy intelligence can act on it, in the cloud, at the edge and in hybrid deployments that span both. Why this role matters Buildings are among the largest controllable costs an organization carries, yet most still run on systems that do not talk to each other. Building management, power monitoring, workplace and maintenance systems each hold part of the picture, and the value sits in the gaps between them. AI raises the stakes. An AI that informs is only as good as the data it can see, and an AI that acts needs trusted, governed paths into the systems it acts on. Integration is where that changes. Every third-party system, device and application that exchanges data with our software does so through DataConnect connectors, interfaces and APIs. They link operational technology (OT) on site, such as building automation, power and IoT systems, with IT systems and cloud services, and they carry data and events reliably in both directions. As Offer Leader for Software Integrations you own that entry point end to end, as its product manager and as its offer leader. You set the roadmap and own the backlog that R&D builds from. You decide which systems we connect, how integration is packaged, priced and sold, and how a community of developers and partners builds on it. The integrations you bring to market are what make cross-domain, AI-native outcomes possible for our customers. The role is technical at its core and commercial in its accountability. Your scope covers: A connector framework, with orchestration, SDK and runtime, for connectors that run in the cloud, at the edge and in hybrid deployments Edge integration interfaces, including REST APIs, MQTT and OPC UA Interfaces that let AI agents read building data and take governed actions, with clear authentication, authorization and audit The connector portfolio, built by our own teams, by technology partners and by the developer community Developer enablement, being the SDK, reference documentation, sample code and certification criteria You join a newly formed team that owns the data layer and its integrations, alongside the offer leaders for the data platform, energy intelligence, the marketplace and product operations. You plan as one team with the data platform offer leader. They own the data platform, and you own how data reaches it and how it leaves it. What you will do This is a global role and a bridge between product management, R&D, Architecture and the commercial teams. You work with the CTO office, Cybersecurity, Legal, Data Privacy, Marketing, Sales, Services, Technical Support and Customer Success, and with system integrators, technology partners and developers outside Schneider Electric. Shape the integration strategy Own the strategy, multi-year roadmap and business case for DataConnect integrations across cloud, edge and hybrid deployments, and bring them to investment decisions. Identify and prioritize integration opportunities on business value, customer demand and strategic fit, and harmonize established and new integration capabilities into one coherent approach. Align roadmaps and packaging with the data platform and energy intelligence offers, so data, integrations and AI reach the market as one proposition. Spend real time with system integrators, partners and customers, and bring what you hear into roadmap, backlog and packaging decisions. Own the product backlog and drive delivery with R&D Own the product backlog for integration capabilities, with epics, features and enablers prioritized on business needs, customer value and dependencies. Prepare and lead PI Planning with R&D, bringing a ready, prioritized backlog and committing to objectives the business can count on, then follow delivery through to release. Write requirements, features and acceptance criteria that agile teams can build from, and accept what they deliver against them. Work day to day with product owners, architects, engineering teams and the CTO office to shape the integration architecture, standard integration patterns and a shared business logic layer across our software. Build investment cases for new developments, and balance growth against architecture, cybersecurity, quality and technical debt. Run workshops with technical teams to resolve integration challenges, and validate ideas through prototypes, reference implementations and customer and partner pilots. Bring integration to market Shape packaging, tiers, pricing and bundling with our other software offers, and refine them on usage and margin evidence after launch. Lead launch readiness with Marketing, Sales, Services and Operations, covering quoting, pricing, sales enablement, training, documentation and support. Make a technical offer simple to buy and sell, so non-technical sales teams can quote it in standard deals across direct, partner, enterprise and large project channels. Equip sales, bid and partner teams with the positioning and answers they need for RFPs and strategic pursuits. Make the business that integration unlocks visible, deal by deal and segment by segment, beyond its own revenue line. Grow the connector portfolio and the developer ecosystem Own the connector portfolio from demand intake and prioritization through build, partner or buy decisions to certification and retirement, so investment follows market demand. Run the portfolio as a business, including partner-built connectors and certification terms. Set the standards, guidelines and certification rules that keep third-party integrations secure, efficient and high quality, and monitor the integrations built on them. Build and animate the developer community through forums, webinars and events, and turn its feedback into the roadmap. Lead the evolution of our established integration framework to its next generation, with a clear lifecycle and migration path for the customers and partners who rely on it today. Define adoption, retention and usage measures, and turn what the data shows into action. Manage interfaces and AI agent access as products Manage the SDK, runtime and edge interfaces as products, with named users, documentation, changelogs, versioning, service levels and adoption measures. Define how AI agents reach building systems safely, including authentication, authorization and auditability, with Architecture and Cybersecurity. Make sure no API or SDK ships without its documentation, onboarding material and an engagement plan for the developers who will use it. Operate, secure and comply Define how connectors and runtime agents are operated in customer environments, covering service levels, support model and escalation, with R&D, Services and Technical Support. Track availability, incidents and time to resolve, and invest in operational quality alongside new capability. Own the commercial and legal framework of the offer with Legal, including license, developer and partner terms. Build in privacy by design, secure development, open-source compliance and the measures that regulations such as the EU Data Act, NIS 2 and the Cyber Resilience Act require in each market. What success looks like DataConnect integrations that customers adopt and pay for, with growing recurring revenue and usage. A ready, prioritized backlog at every PI Planning, and delivered objectives that track the roadmap. Offers that sales teams quote in standard deals, with pricing, packaging and enablement in place at launch. A smooth move to the next-generation integration framework for existing customers and partners. A connector portfolio prioritized on demand and value, and a growing community of certified connectors and active developers. APIs and SDKs with the documentation, versioning and service levels that developers trust. Every release ready for security and compliance review in every market it enters.
