Distribution Product Manager

We are looking for a Distribution Product Manager to join our Commercial Distribution team on a maternity leave cover until April 2027 with a possible extension. This role can be based in Copenhagen, Sweden, or Norway, offering flexibility within Scandinavia.

Challenges you will work on:

In this role, you will play a key part in driving our indirect distribution strategy and modern airline retailing initiatives. You will act as a critical link between Commercial and IT, ensuring that business needs are clearly translated into technical requirements—and that technical developments are effectively understood and leveraged by the commercial organization.  You will work as Product Manager for commercial initiatives that require IT Offer & Order resources.

You will also work with external distribution partners such as aggregators and Direct Connect partners, supporting integrations and ongoing development.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of commercial strategy, technology, and project delivery, with a strong focus on coordination and execution.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the go-between for Commercial and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring alignment across teams
  • Lead and manage projects related to NDC and distribution partner integrations
  • Support onboarding and development of aggregators and Direct Connect partners
  • Serve as the commercial point of contact for NDC-related topics and second-line support
  • Help drive implementation and adoption of modern airline retailing capabilities
  • Deliver training, communication, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery of distribution initiatives
  • Use data and insights to track performance and support decision-making

To be successful we believe you are

A proactive and structured individual with strong project leadership skills and a clear ability to work across both commercial and technical environments.

You bring:

  • Proven project management / project leadership experience
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence (Salesforce is an advantage)
  • Ability to act as a translator between business and technical teams
  • Background in airline, travel, tech, or similar commercial environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English
  • A valid work permit (arbetstillstånd) allowing you to work in Scandinavia
  • Ability to be based in Copenhagen, Sweden, or Norway

Why SAS?

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of airline distribution while working in a dynamic, international environment. You will gain exposure to strategic initiatives and play a central role in connecting business and technology.
