Lead the product strategy and execution for Sportstyle Apparel lines, managing market analysis and collection development for PUMA's global consumer base.

What you’ll do

  • Preparing market- and competitor studies on an international level
  • Analyzing forecasts and sales analyses
  • Developing collection- and marketing strategies for the assigned product lines
  • Cooperate with Merchandising, Design and Development (PUMA Group Sourcing) to ensure that the final collection is reflecting market needs
  • Working closely with Business Unit, footwear, apparel and accessories teams to ensure concept and product coordination across all product segments
  • Driving the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market (gtm) calendar
  • Presenting product strategy and product lines to international partner as well as key accounts
  • Planning, coordinating and final checking of the instore date/product flow

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Fashion Management, Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum 6 years of international apparel experience in a similar position with a top tier international sports company or vertical apparel brands
  • Readiness to travel

  • Team player mentality, high flexibility and open mindedness

YOUR MISSION

  • Preparing market- and competitor studies on an international level as well as analyzing forecasts and sales analyses

  • Developing collection- and marketing strategies for the assigned product lines

  • Cooperate with Merchandising, Design and Development (PUMA Group Sourcing) to ensure that the final collection is reflecting market needs

  • Working closely with Business Unit, footwear, apparel and accessories teams to ensure concept and product coordination across all product segments

  • Driving the product creation process based on the Go-to-Market (gtm) calendar

  • Presenting product strategy and product lines to international partner as well as key accounts

  • Planning, coordinating and final checking of the instore date/product flow

  • Checking the final Free on Board-prices considering given target margins

  • Constantly challenges the product costing and how costing affects the product quality, margin & net sales from design to phase to production release

  • Collaborate in planning the whole sell-in support (catalogue etc.)

  • Regularly market visits, fairs and supplier

YOUR TALENT

  • Preferably Bachelor/Master Degree in Fashion Management, Business Administration or Marketing

  • Minimum 6 years of international apparel experience in a similar position with a top tier international sports company or vertical apparel brands

  • Readiness to travel

  • Very good knowledge and passion for sportswear and consumer trends

  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with complex processes at the same time

  • Team player mentality, high flexibility and open mindedness

  • Very strong analytical skills, overall business orientation

  • Very good verbal and written language skills in English

  • Deep knowledge of MS Office environment (Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • Initiative, energy, passion, eye for details, confident and looking for daily challenges in an international environment

  • Experience in women’s apparel and a strong understanding of the female consumer would be a plus, while broader apparel experience is equally valued.
