Millions of people across Europe want better ways to build long-term wealth, but traditional investing often feels complex or out of reach.
Mintos is solving that. We've built a platform that makes investing in income-generating assets simple, transparent, and accessible. And we're expanding fast.
As our Product Designer, you'll solve complex problems in a regulated financial environment and take care of the craft, clarity, and user value as we grow to millions of investors.
If this is the kind of problem you want to solve, let's talk.
What you'll do
As our Product Designer, you'll work on the experiences hundreds of thousands of investors use to manage their money – across onboarding, investing, portfolio reporting, and the workflows that connect them, on web and mobile. You'll own features from discovery through launch, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing to ship intuitive, useful, and well-crafted work that supports our mission of making investing accessible and transparent.
You will:
Design and deliver polished product experiences across onboarding, investing, reporting, and portfolio flows
Keep the experience consistent and platform-appropriate across iOS, Android, and web
Frame problems, prototype early concepts, and validate them through user interviews, usability tests, and competitor research
Work with analysts on behavioural data, define success metrics for your work, and follow what happens after launch so you can apply the learnings to what comes next
Deliver flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, edge-case handling, and design-system-aligned documentation that engineering can build from without back-and-forth
Take part in critique, give and receive feedback, and help raise the bar on craft and rigour as the team grows
Your professional skills and background
Must-haves
4+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a portfolio that shows real problems you've solved end-to-end
A track record of owning features from discovery through launch, not just producing screens for someone else's brief
Strong UX and visual design skills, with the ability to turn complex problems into clear, intuitive experiences
An evidence-based approach – you pick the right research method for the question and can explain your reasoning to people outside design
A collaborative way of working – you share work early, listen to feedback, and bring partners along with you
Genuine curiosity about personal finance, investing, or fintech – you don't need to be an expert, but you should care about the space
Nice-to-haves
Experience in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry
Experience working with Compliance, Legal, or Risk teams
Experience designing for multi-market or multi-language products
Information design – turning complex data into clear visualisations
Design system contribution
A/B testing or experimentation experience
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
