Description -----------

MAGIC AI is an elegant in-home fitness mirror that uses AI, computer vision, professional instructors classes and workouts filmed in our studios and music to deliver personalised training sessions. We've been stocked in Selfridges, featured on Good Morning Britain, and named one of Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies of 2026. We are growing super fast and have an elite team of experts across AI, tech, personal training & fitness, design and marketing.

We're looking for a Product Owner to keep our small, high-performing team shipping great work; reliably and on time. Reporting to the CPO and working closely with the CTO, you'll be the connective tissue that turns intent into delivered software: tightening the specs we draft, getting Jira genuinely sprint-ready, keeping work moving, and shepherding it through testing and out the door.

This is a hands-on delivery and execution role, not a product-strategy one. The roadmap and the "what and why" are owned between the CPO and CTO, your value is in rigour, follow-through, and making the team's output land. If you feel a quiet satisfaction when a sprint is clean, scoped, and actually finishes, you'll love it here.

What You'll Be Involved In

  • Sharpening specs. We'll draft the requirements; you'll pressure-test and tighten them, closing gaps, flagging ambiguity, and making sure acceptance criteria are clear and testable before anything reaches a sprint.
  • Owning sprint readiness in Jira. Making sure tickets are well-formed, correctly estimated, properly linked, and prioritised so every sprint starts clean — no vague tickets, no mid-sprint surprises.
  • Driving work to completion. Tracking progress, surfacing blockers early, chasing the loose ends, and keeping momentum so things finish rather than lingering at 90%.
  • Running the delivery cadence. Facilitating planning, stand-ups, and retros, keeping them tight and useful.
  • Coordinating UAT, and getting hands-on. Organising user acceptance testing, managing the defect list, tracking fixes, and stewarding sign-off. We have one QA engineer, so when we're stretched you'll roll up your sleeves and run test cases yourself rather than waiting on the queue.
  • Being the source of truth on status. At any moment, you can say what's in flight, what's blocked, and what's shipping, without anyone having to dig.

Requirements ------------

You Should Have

  • 2–4 years in a delivery, project coordination, scrum, or product-operations role within a software environment.
  • Strong command of JIRA (or a comparable tool); you know how to structure a board, write a clean ticket, and run a sprint, not just navigate the UI.
  • Outstanding written communication; you can take a rough spec and make it precise, and write a ticket an engineer doesn't have to second-guess.
  • A meticulous, dependable approach with exceptional attention to detail. Things don't slip through with you around.
  • Experience working effectively in Agile Scrum teams.
  • Happy to get hands-on with testing; you don't see running test cases or pitching in on QA as beneath the role when the team needs the extra hands.
  • Practical experience using AI models to automate workflows and improve productivity.

Behaviourally

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, taking full ownership of your remit while being comfortable taking direction from the CPO and CTO.
  • Calm and persistent; you keep work moving and chase the details without becoming the person everyone dreads a ping from.
  • Able to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced, small-team setting.
  • You don't have to be a regular gym-goer, but you absolutely must be excited by AI and passionate about technology that will revolutionise how people exercise!
  • Have a passion for consumer products
  • Using AI, vibe coding and continuously learning in this area.

Nice to Haves

  • Exposure to formal UAT processes and defect tracking.
  • An interest in how AI and computer-vision features get built, tested, and shipped.
  • Experience in an early-stage or small-team environment where roles aren't rigidly drawn.
  • A personal passion for fitness, and working out yourself.

Benefits --------

  • Competitive Salary.
  • Significant Equity Share Options in the company.
  • An impact from day one. Our business is scaling by the day. You'll work on ambitious projects, and your contribution will significantly impact the success of MAGIC AI now and in the future.
  • Our legendary team culture aligned to our PUNCH values.
  • Unlimited Holiday (self-directed time off)
  • Free MAGIC AI Mirror with full package.
  • Flexible Home/Hybrid Working from our London HQ (2 days WFH per week)
  • Brand new Macbook or other.
  • Weekly Free Lunch Club
  • Daily Unlimited Barista Coffee
  • Weekly Snackboxes
  • Quarterly Off-sites and regular FUN team socials!
  • Mirror and smart dumbbells for you to workout from home
  • Possible flexibility to be a 4 day a week role.
