About the role: What's in the box

In this role, you will own the assortment roadmap and key monetisation levers for HelloFresh DACH product categories, driving AOV growth across Add-on Market, surcharge, and modular offerings. You will optimise assortment performance through data-driven analysis, shape pricing and bundle strategies, and translate insights into actionable commercial decisions. Working cross-functionally across Product, Culinary, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, you will also help execute the merchandising calendar and leverage AI-driven automation to improve efficiency and execution at scale.

Please note that this position is a 24-month fixed-term contract (with the aim of converting it to a permanent position afterwards).

What you’ll do: The Recipe

  • Own the assortment roadmap and monetisation lever design for HelloFresh DACH's product categories: Add-on Market (DACH only), surcharge, and modularity.
  • Success is measured by sustained AOV growth across the DACH monetisation categories.
  • Continuously track and improve product assortment through performance analysis, and partner with stakeholders to generate action plans that close performance gaps.
  • Build AI automation workflows or agents to streamline category operations, performance reporting, and execution.
  • Define and adjust pricing for surcharge items and selected add-on products within the broader pricing framework. This includes setting individual price points, recommending bundle pricing, and reading the results to refine the approach.
  • Coordinate and drive the execution of product initiatives across operational workstreams, including Private-label, Product Ops, Culinary, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
  • Execute the merchandising calendar across seasonal themes, cultural moments, and cuisine spotlights, working in close coordination with the lead PM who owns the broader commercial product roadmap.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally experience in an entrepreneurial e-commerce environment with commercial exposure; CPG, D2C subscription, FoodTech, or Retail experience is a plus.
  • Comfort with assortment optimization under constraints, balancing trade-offs across margin, customer fit, and operational feasibility while maintaining momentum.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights into viable product solutions by connecting qualitative and quantitative signals to commercial decisions on assortment, packaging, and pricing.
  • Working knowledge of pricing fundamentals, including price elasticity, willingness to pay, and margin trade-offs.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Culinary, Operations, Marketing, and international teams, with the ability to distil complex initiatives for different audiences and build alignment.
  • Keen interest in working with AI and applying it to continuously improve ways of working across teams.
