What you’ll do
- Responsibility for products in the milking technology area of the Product Line Conventional Milking Systems of GEA Farm Technologies
- Initiating the development of products and functionalities including business case
- Product management of the portfolio (lifecycle management and analysis)
- Market analysis, evaluation of needs and potential new markets
- Development of product and portfolio strategy
- Support of R&D in development and participation in development projects
- Interface function within the company, from product idea to introduction and discontinuation (Sales, Marketing, Production, Service, Country organizations)
What they’re looking for
- Completed degree in Agricultural Sciences with focus on animal husbandry or agricultural economics
- Completed degree in Business or Economics with focus on product management or marketing
- Several years of experience in product/project management, sales, or marketing is an advantage
- Industry-specific knowledge and experience (especially market environment, trends, customer needs, milking systems, and animal behavior)
- Excellent team, communication, and presentation skills
- Assertiveness and goal orientation
- Reliability and structured working method
- Driver's license class B

Responsibilities / Tasks
Verantwortung für Produkte im Bereich Melktechnik der Product Line Conventional Milking Systems der GEA Farm Technologies
Initialisierung der Entwicklung von Produkten und Funktionalitäten inkl. Business case Verantwortung
Produkt Management des Portfolios (Lifecycle Management und Analyse)
Marktanalyse, Evaluierung von Bedarfen und potentiellen neuen Märkten
Entwicklung der Produkt- und Portfolio Strategie
Unterstützung von T&I bei der Entwicklung und Mitarbeit in den Entwicklungsprojekten
Schnittstellenfunktion im Unternehmen, von der Produktidee über die Einführung bis zur Abkündigung (Sales, Marketing, Produktion, Service, Länderorganisationen)
Your Profile / Qualifications
Abgeschlossenes Studium der Agrarwissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Tierhaltung oder Agrarökonomie oder Betriebs- oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit den Schwerpunkten Produktmanagement oder Marketing
Mehrjährige Erfahrung von Vorteil im Produkt- / Projektmanagement, Vertrieb oder Marketing
Branchenspezifische Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen (insb., Marktumfeld, Trends, Kundenbedürfnisse, Melksysteme und Tierverhalten)
Ausgezeichnete Team-, Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeit
Durchsetzungsfähigkeit und Zielstrebigkeit
Zuverlässigkeit und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft Office, insbesondere Excel und Power Point
Fließende Deutsch- (C1/C2) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2)
Führerschein Klasse B
