Product Manager - Drying Processing Technologies

Join our team at GEA Nutrition Plant Engineering in Søborg and help shape the future of drying technologies for the food, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Product Manager for our drying processing technologies product portfolio, starting as soon as possible.

As Product Manager, you will drive the success of assigned products by defining and executing product strategies that address customer needs, support GEA’s growth ambitions and ensure successful market introduction across a global organization.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving innovation and shaping a globally relevant product portfolio in one of GEA’s core technology areas. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, Technology Centers, Business Lines, Sales, Service and Marketing and successfully bring products to market, driving their commercial impact.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Product Manager, you will take ownership of assigned products and ensure their commercial success.

You will work with market insights, customer needs and technical input to ensure strong and competitive product offerings.

More specifically, you will:

• manage assigned products across their full lifecycle – from ideation to market launch and phase-out
• monitor markets, customers, competitors and relevant technological trends
• define product strategies and roadmaps based on market and customer insights
• translate insights into product requirements and value propositions
• build and own business cases, including profitability and ROI
• drive and steer product development, acting as the voice of the customer throughout the development process
• develop product positioning, go-to-market concepts and sales enablement materials
• support and drive product launches, including training activities
• monitor product performance using relevant KPIs and continuously optimize products after launch

Your Profile / Qualifications

You are analytical, structured and able to translate insights into concrete product decisions. You work independently but thrive in a cross-functional and international environment.

We also imagine that you:

• hold a university degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• have minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management or a similar role, ideally within mechanical or plant engineering
• have experience with market and customer analysis as well as competitive assessment
• have a solid understanding of product lifecycles and value-based product development
• have experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations
• have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• communicate fluently in English
• are willing to travel internationally on occasion
