Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Global Procurement manages platforms and technology solutions that enable efficient purchasing of goods and services. The Product Management team within Transformation and Remediation defines the technology vision and roadmap for source-to-pay solutions. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive procurement interoperability, connecting demand to payment across platforms and teams with an AI-driven mindset. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product backlog for for procurement interoperability and orchestration across sourcing, supplier onboarding, buying, invoicing, contracts and risk processes.
  • Drive interoperability solution design across procurement platforms, aligning data attributes, interfaces and event flows to enable seamless integration between systems.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops with business and technology teams, and manage deployment E2E-testing, rollout, hyper-care and transition to business-as-usual support.
  • Translate business demand into user stories, business cases and prioritized releases, ensuring traceability from intake to delivery.
  • Embed practical automation and artificial intelligence opportunities by shaping where agents and prompt‑driven workflows can improve efficiency and user experience.

Skills

  • Hands-on procurement domain expertise with 5+ years of relevant experience across source-to-pay processes, including process steps, controls and data across platforms. 
  • Strong technology fluency across procurement applications, including SAP Ariba modules, supplier lifecycle management, buying, invoicing, contracts and third-party risk solutions. 
  • Solid integration understanding of application programming interfaces, authentication patterns, data models and master or transactional data linkages. 
  • Independent product management capability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve trade-offs and translate business needs into implementable technology outcomes. 
  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts relevant to procurement, including prompt design, testing and emerging automation opportunities.
  • Fluent written and verbal English with strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams; Business Management/Finance Degree (or equivalent).
