We are on the lookout for a Staff or Senior Product Analyst to spearhead the data strategy for our Logistics Service product line. You will move beyond simple reporting to shape the future of our product through rigorous hypothesis testing and by converting massive datasets into high-impact strategic narratives. You will also tackle one of the industry's toughest challenges, automating customer support at a scale of billions of orders. Depending on your domain of focus, you will drive initiatives on cost-efficient chatbots, agent productivity, automated problem resolution, or predictive models for voucher and compensation issuance, all while balancing customer satisfaction with financial efficiency.

The Service product line is where we ensure an amazing delivery and post-order experience for customers, riders, and vendors globally through user support applications, agent CRM products and chatbots. You'll join our Product Analytics team, embedded directly within the product organization, where we foster a "data-first" culture that drives tangible change in product development.

In our Logistics Team, you'll tackle high-impact challenges that make last-mile delivery efficient, affordable, and sustainable. Your work will directly improve experiences for customers, riders, and merchants across the globe. Each enhancement you contribute will help Delivery Hero optimize delivery operations, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.

  • Define the North Star: Develop and refine product metrics and leading indicators that accurately reflect product health, customer satisfaction, and business viability.

  • Influence Roadmap: Use quantitative analysis to look beyond the numbers, providing the insights that empower Product Managers and Engineers to decide what to build and why, and Performance teams on how to localize solutions in the most efficient way.

  • Drive Experimentation: Plan, execute and analyze A/B tests and guide product and operations teams on methodology, design, interpretation, and decision-making, to ensure we only ship impactful features.

  • Build for Scale: Drive the development of scalable analytics infrastructure and self-service capabilities, ensuring data quality and accessibility across the organization.

  • Level up with GenAI: Push the frontier of analytics with GenAI, adapting our data stack and ways of working to match.

  • Elevate the Team: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing, rigorous peer review, and technical excellence. Act as a quality gatekeeper and champion a data-driven mindset across the Product and Tech teams.

Qualifications

  • Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role, preferably within fast-paced tech environments or marketplaces.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate abstract business goals into concrete analytics roadmaps. You understand the "business of the product."

  • SQL and Python: Expert-level SQL skills with practical experience on large-scale data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake), and solid Python skills for complex analytics and data visualization.

  • Data Curation: Proven ability to design, build, and optimize data pipelines. You take ownership of data curation to ensure that all business decisions are based on a foundation of reliable, high-quality data.

  • Experimentation: Solid understanding of A/B test design and edge cases. You know the common pitfalls and best practices of experimentation, and you can work with stakeholders to set up tests that answer the right question and to interpret the results.

  • Visualization: Proven track record of building actionable data stories and dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or similar) that drive business decisions.

Nice to have

  • GenAI: Solid experience using GenAI to partially automate your own workflows, ideally including team-level automations that have proven themselves beyond the prototype stage.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience mentoring other analysts and leading high-impact projects with autonomy. You can influence stakeholders without formal authority.

  • Causal inference: Knowledge of causal inference and statistical analysis.

Staff role only (not required for the Senior role)

As a Staff Analyst, you will operate across the product line, partnering with leaders in Product, Tech, Operations and Data to define the strategic direction of analytics for the entire department. The Staff role additionally requires excellence in one of the following areas of expertise (not all three):

  • Analytics Engineering: Expert-level ability to design, build, and optimize data curation pipelines. Proven experience defining processes that maintain a high data quality standard over time. Ability to enforce best practices across 10+ teams by effectively collaborating with and influencing engineering, product management, and other analysts.

Proven experience developing GenAI-driven automations for analytics teams that make it past the prototype stage and are clear time-savers with sustained high adoption. Ability to effectively drive the GenAI transformation within our analytics team by taking charge of direction, spearheading efforts, and collaborating with analysts to drive adoption.

  • Strategic Thinking and Execution: Excellent ability to translate business goals into concrete analytics roadmaps.
