The role
- You own the end-to-end Trust & Safety domain for consumer payment experiences, balancing security with seamless UX across dispute management, customer care, and fraud interventions.
- You develop and execute product strategy for consumer protection and account integrity, defining roadmaps that prioritize user safety alongside business growth and conversion.
- You partner with Engineering, Risk, Fraud, and Operations to build real-time threat response systems while protecting legitimate user journeys; collaborate with UX designers on high-friction moments like account suspension and identity verification.
- You work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure all experiences meet FCA requirements, PSD2/SCA standards, and robust KYC/AML flows without compromising UX.
- You define KPIs for Experience Health, monitoring how risk interventions impact user retention and trust, and influence senior stakeholders on navigating UK financial regulations.

- 5–7 years of Product Management experience with heavy focus on Growth, Risk, or Trust & Safety in UK fintech or payments.
- Deep understanding of UK financial services sector, API-led processing, and regulatory frameworks (FCA, PSD2/SCA, KYC/AML).
- Data-driven mindset: ability to interpret complex risk and performance data to balance security with user delight.
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills for sensitive cross-functional discussions on fraud and user impact.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, stealth-focused environments with a strong bias toward action.
