Job Title: Food, Biofuels & Sustainability Product Manager with Czech and English

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Key Responsibilities:

• Complex management and optimalization of certification activities in the scope of Food standards, Biofuels and Sustainable Forest management (FSC)
• Maintenance of personnel competence of Audit specialists; management of Certification processes and Post-certification activities for the defined scope
• Certification scheme development - design, develop and enhance certification schemes and audit protocols for Food safety, quality assurance, sustainability, and biofuels compliance
• Market and regulatory Intelligence - monitor evolving certification requirements, regulatory frameworks; identify gaps and opportunities for new certification offerings
• Audit protocol and standard alignment - ensure certification schemes align with international standards; collaboration with standards bodies and regulatory authorities
• Accreditation and compliance management - work with accreditation bodies (e.g. UKAS, national accreditation authorities) to maintain and expand certification scheme accreditation; ensure autid quality and consistency
• Client and stakeholder engagement - build relationship with certification clients, auditors, industry associations during participation in Food/Biofuels/FSC seminars and conferences  
• Auditor and Business Developer training and competence - develop training materials and competence framework for both certification Auditors and Business Developers
• Execution of technical reviews and certification approvals
• Cross-department collaboration with Audit, Sales and Audit Planning departments and assist in proper certificate generation

 

Qualifications:

• Secondary school/University education in a relevant field (Food, Business or Quality Management)
• Relevant experience and knowledge of legislative requirements in the field of Food, Biofuels, and Sustainable Forest management, preferably in the testing, inspection or certification industry
• Strong understanding of quality management principles
• Fluent Czech and English skills
• Advanced user of MS Office
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate cross-functionally
