Job overview:

We're looking for an experienced, technically minded Product Owner to lead the development and ongoing evolution of our Salesforce Platform, with a focus on delivering and optimising the end-to-end sales journey, from lead management and quoting through to onboarding and conversion. You'll act as the key link between business stakeholders, Salesforce engineers and delivery teams, owning the product backlog, leading agile delivery activities and driving platform enhancements, integrations and process improvements that support sales performance and operational efficiency. We're seeking someone with strong Salesforce platform knowledge, experience of sales-led customer journeys and excellent stakeholder management skills, who's confident working with both technical and non-technical audiences to deliver scalable, value-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the Salesforce Platform vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring it supports business objectives and sales growth.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing business needs, technical requirements and customer value.
  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of sales journeys, including lead management, quoting, selling and customer onboarding.
  • Partner closely with Salesforce Engineers, Architects and technology teams to deliver platform enhancements and integrations.
  • Drive the development of integrated solutions across Salesforce, including telephony and other customer-facing systems.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement and retrospectives, to support successful delivery.
  • Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, monitor platform performance and champion continuous improvement across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience:

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or similar role delivering Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, ideally within Sales Cloud environments.
  • Experience working closely with Salesforce Developers, Engineers and Architects within technical delivery teams.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, including lead management, sales funnels, opportunity management, quoting and onboarding.
  • Experience delivering platform integrations, particularly with telephony, CRM or customer engagement systems.
  • Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA or similar agile delivery tools to manage backlogs and sprint activities.
  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed user stories, technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional squads and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
