The role
- You independently manage product enhancements end-to-end — from concept and business case development through to implementation.
- You support product strategy by contributing insights and recommendations across product reviews, simplifications, and retirements.
- You conduct competitive benchmarking, performance analysis, and customer insight reviews to surface trends and opportunities.
- You actively manage the product review roadmap, ensuring governance adherence while finding ways to streamline controls and processes.
- You track KPIs, operational metrics, and customer experience data to drive continuous improvement across the PI portfolio.
What they are looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in personal Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, ideally in product development or product management.
- Solid understanding of Personal Insurance products, underwriting principles, and Canadian regulatory frameworks.
- Strong data-driven analytical skills — ability to interpret complex quantitative and qualitative datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to distill findings into executive-level reporting and build consensus across cross-functional stakeholders including underwriting, pricing, claims, and IT.
- Self-starter mindset with demonstrated ability to independently research, engage external partners, and uncover new product opportunities.
