The role
- Own end-to-end technical build and optimization of Salesforce Life Science Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud for oncology HCP and patient engagement.
- Lead a squad of engineers through Scrum/Kanban, conduct code reviews, and enforce DevSecOps standards including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Execute omnichannel journeys with Data Cloud triggers driving real-time, personalized actions for field representatives in the CRM.
- Design and maintain API-first, event-driven integrations between Salesforce and oncology-specific data sources (claims, EHR feeds) using MuleSoft or Kafka.
- Evaluate technical deliverables from System Integrator partners against internal architectural principles and code quality standards.
What they are looking for
- 5+ years in CRM, customer engagement platforms, or related technical product ownership roles.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Veeva CRM and/or Salesforce Life Science Cloud—specifically Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud configuration.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) with MuleSoft or Kafka.
- Proven experience leading engineering squads, managing technical debt, and driving GitFlow and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of U.S. Oncology domain: HIPAA compliance, claims data structures, EHR models, and regulatory considerations.
