140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich site serves as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Manuel SAUTER - Site Project Engineering Manager in Zürich - CH and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

You'll contribute to shaping the future of high-performance traction technology while driving innovation in green mobility.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, research and development, and project management), manage product standardization and roadmaps, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating concepts and solutions for traction converters and power modules, but also lead strategic product development initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Concept and solution creation for traction converters and power modules

Product responsibility for traction converters/power modules in railway vehicles

Product standardization, roadmaps, costing, obsolescence management, and life cycle cost

Key interface and coordination for research and development activities

Support tenders in terms of product selection and other relevant information

Drive innovation and entrepreneurial thinking within the team
