Key responsibilities

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop a product roadmap and align on priorities with global marketing and sales, R&D, and project management.
• Use data to define strategy and features that drive both engagement and revenue.
• Write clear product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features.
• Communicate product requirements and features across the organization, always representing the voice of the customer.
• Be an expert on the competitive arena and propose new ways to innovate.
• Initiate, coordinate, and review launch activities and deliverables for new features in conjunction with global sales and marketing.

Qualifications for the role

• A Bachelor/ Master Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in English and German
• Availability for travels (domestic and abroad) up to 20% of the time consistently with general safety and travel guidelines;
• Expertise in launching new products or features working closely with Suppliers, marketing and sales.
• Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profile.
• Solid analytic, problem solving and result orientation skills
• Teamwork, inclination to innovation, attention to customers and stakeholders, strong motivation are additional and essential personal ability
