This position reports to:

In this role, you will leverage your engineering background and product management mindset to represent global divisions within the country, driving sales performance and product market growth. Each day, you will oversee sales and product marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales for their respective products. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area ELSB (Smart Building) Division in Hungary. Main stakeholders are ABB Factories, Low voltage Sales, Sales Support and Marketing teams.

The work model for the role is: onsite / office based

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
  • Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
  • Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You are highly skilled in electrical engineering and experienced with low voltage systems
  • You have 5+ years of experience in overseeing product marketing activities and supporting sales organizations in driving sales for their respective products
  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy at a multinational industrial company
  • You have Product marketing and/or Sales experience of low voltage systems in B2B segment
  • You are passionate about products and systems of low voltage energy distribution and building and home automation, energy monitoring, metering and management, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently represent the company’s products both internally and externally, deliver professional presentations to partners and customers
  • You are at ease communicating in English and native in Hungarian
  • You are EU national or hold Hungarian VISA/work permit.
