Technischer Produktmanager Wärmepumpe (m/w/d)

The role

• You own the heat pump product area with a focus on application, installation, and system integration into 1KOMMA5°'s virtual power plant.
• You accompany field test installations, work closely with installation partners, and ensure systems perform under real-world conditions.
• You evaluate and evolve heat pump systems and components — hydraulics, storage, controls, and system integration — with direct manufacturer collaboration.
• You co-develop the product portfolio and system strategy alongside the Heat Pump Product Manager.
• You support the design and delivery of technical training for installers across multiple countries and locations.

What they are looking for

• Deep hands-on technical expertise in heat pump systems — as a master craftsperson (SHK Meister), application engineer, project engineer, or installer.
• Strong understanding of heat pump components and their interaction in integrated energy systems.
• Experience in planning, installation, commissioning, or technical support of heat pump systems.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly to internal and external stakeholders across countries.
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-scaling environment; product management experience is a plus, not a requirement.
